Over 50 Years of Samoyeds

Welcome to Kalaska Samoyeds. Since 1976 we have devoted ourselves to this beautiful arctic breed — raising sound, healthy, happy dogs and sharing our love of the Samoyed with families across Australia and beyond.

Originally established in Mount Evelyn, Victoria, Kalaska is now based in the leafy surrounds of Wonga Park — a place full of towering trees, lovely birds, laughing kookaburras and amazing wildlife. It is the perfect home for our cherished “fluffies.” Our close-knit team of Jamie Beard, Kristine O’Riley — Denise’s daughter — and founder Denise Klaaysen continue a proud legacy of champion breeding.
