                                CELEBRATING 30 YEARS 

                             AUST. CH. KALASKA MONTY CARLO   

Breeding for correct type, balance and true moving samoyeds, all breeding stock hip x rayed and scored.

 
 Kalaska is a small kennel just under one hours drive East of Melbourne at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges
Established in 1977 with our first Samoyed Ch. Lynbuck Sonya who became our foundation bitch and went on to win at her first Melbourne Royal Show Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex in Group 6.

She produced 3 litters and lived to a good age of 15 years old.
From one of her litters we kept  Ch. Kalaska Karousel “Sally” who took after her mothers footsteps and went on to win Best Of Breed at a Melbourne Royal and many in Group and In Show awards including  Best In Show at All Breeds Championship Shows.

                           

In 1995 Jamie and Christine Beard joined our team in Sydney and together we have bred over 40 Champions and strive to breed healthy correct type puppies from our Hip Xrayed and scored stock.

    

In the year 2000  we imported a bitch from the United Kingdom Sarbesha A Gem From Skotia who has been a consistent In Group and In Show winner gaining her Championship title at only 15months old.

She  produced 4 Males and 3 Females from her first litter and plans are being made for her next litter in early 2004. She has been campaigned during 2003 and is now a Grand Champion with the 1000 points needed. Youngsters from her second litter can be seen in the Photo Gallery's New Pictures.

In the year 2002 Kalaska together with Snerzok Samoyeds imported also from the United Kingdom a male called Snowsapphire Rainbow Royal From Sarbesha "Royal". His grandsire is Eng. Ch. Zamoyski Lucky Casanova At Roybridge "Topper" who is currently the winner of the greatest number of CC's ever won by a Samoyed in the UK and is still being very successfully campaigned.

Kalaska has had many big wins in Victoria and New South Wales from some of our dogs pictured here on our Web Site.

 

                                                                                                              

It is great to have my daughter Kristine back handling for me together with my grand daughter Jacqueline who is now 10 years old and what a great handler she is doing well in the Junior Handlers.

In February 2005 we imported from Rainer and Elise Lehtinen (IKILIIKKUJAN SAMOYEDS) of Finland  Ikiliikkujan Derek Of Voyage. Derek is the son of one of Finland's outstanding bitches Fin/Swd/Est/int Ch. Ikiliikkujan Milady Melanie and Dan/Fin/Norw/Swd/Slv/Int Ch. Anatina Voyage Voyage and a grandson of a favourite of mine Fin/Swd/Est/Int Ch. Ikiliikkujan Snowstorm.
